History is our story. By understanding our past and where we came from we hope to better understand where we are now and even decide about what might happen in the future.

The way things are now is a consequence of the things that happened in the past. The way things will be tomorrow will be a consequence of the way things are now.

Historians study both secondary and primary sources.

“History is a cyclic poem written by time upon the memories of man.”

Shelley English Poet

“Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

– George Santayana

… …

Whatever happens next in the course of our history – what story is written on the blank pages of tomorrow – is in our own hands.

The history of the future is whatever we do now.
