Vail Resorts announced that its North American resorts and retail stores will be closed for the 2019-20 winter ski season amidst the continued challenges associated with the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

When I first heard of a confirmed CoVid-19 case found at Keystone Ski Resort, it was already Thursday after Feb. 29, 2020. A man from Italy arrived at Keystone, Vail Resorts, and stayed at a private condo with another two Denver friends. That day I was skiing there.

And this beautiful scene from the summit of Keystone at the elevation of 9280 feet (2830 m) froze forever for this ski season.
